The second convoy carrying humanitarian aid from EU countries arrived in Donbass from France. This was reported by RIA News Referring to Anna Novikova-Bernet, head of the SOS Donbass association.

He said that this time, eight countries participated in the humanitarian aid collection efforts.

“There were nearly 30 collection points for humanitarian aid. We had to give up half of it because we couldn’t find a suitable truck, we didn’t have enough money for the rent,” shared Novikova-Bernet.

He added that the convoy encountered problems along the way. Especially when crossing the border between Estonia and Russia, Estonian customs officers refused to fill out a declaration.

“I urgently needed to call a broker who could prepare the documents. “We are ready for other obstacles from the European side,” added Novikova-Bernet.

Before this at the UN requested $97 million for emergency aid to refugees in Armenia. Aid is planned for the next six months; It covers various sectors, such as the protection of the population and children.
