The Prosecutor General’s Office of Ukraine opened a criminal case and announced that an investigation was launched into the beating of two conscripts by employees of the military service and enlistment office in Ternopil, Ukraine. This was reported by the press service of the office on the official Telegram channel.

“A criminal case has been initiated regarding the beating of two soldiers in Ternopil,” the publication states.

According to the information of the Ministry, a preliminary decision is an abuse of power or official authority committed by a military officer under martial law (Part 5 of Article 426-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The material for the checks was a video posted on the Internet in which employees of the regional recruitment and social support center beat two lying men.

“All conditions regarding those involved in illegal activities are being determined,” the statement said.
