Since the beginning of 2023, the Russian Federation Space Force has carried out three Soyuz-2 rocket launches with three military satellites from Plesetsk, as well as 13 space rocket launches from Plesetsk, Vostochny and Baikonur cosmodromes. This was reported by RIA News.

The Ministry of Defense emphasized that 55 spacecraft were launched into orbit.

The ministry claims that more than 300 modern and modernized spacecraft control systems are currently in operation at the military units of the Main Test Space Center.

Previously, the Soyuz-2.1b medium-class launch vehicle with a military satellite was launched from the Plesetsk cosmodrome in the Arkhangelsk region.

The spacecraft launch of the launch vehicle was carried out by combat teams of the space forces of the Russian Aerospace Forces at 16:20 on Monday, August 7.

It was noted that Soyuz-2.1b was launched in the interests of the Russian Ministry of Defense.
