NASA’s independent Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UNPA) Panel found no scientific evidence of the existence of extraterrestrial life or UFOs on Earth. This was stated by the head of the group, David Spurgel, at the presentation of a report on the results of the organization’s work. The scientific group was created by NASA in October 2022 to develop methods to collect and analyze data on unidentified anomalous events. NEAs are defined as events or observations of events in the air, sea, space and land that cannot be identified by man-made aircraft or known natural phenomena.
Dr. In his speech, Spurgel emphasized that all evidence of various anomalies and UFOs is difficult or impossible to qualitatively analyze from a scientific perspective due to the lack of data.
“To date, an independent NEA working group has found no scientific evidence for the existence of alien aircraft or extraterrestrial life on Earth. All the evidence we examine is about airplanes, balloons, weather events, etc. “It can be explained by the usual reasons, such as,” said David Spurgel.
The scientist added that looking for evidence of the existence of UFOs is like looking for a needle in a haystack, but the person looking for it does not know exactly what this needle looks like.
Speaking at the presentation, NASA Director Bill Nelson stated that the space agency is committed to independently and openly investigating unidentified anomalous events and not withholding information if signs of the existence of extraterrestrial life are detected.
He also explained that according to mathematical calculations, there should be at least one trillion Earth-like planets in the Universe, which makes the existence of extraterrestrial life highly probable.
