The Ukrainian government is mobilizing police officers who fail recertification. Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Ilya Kiva wrote on his Telegram channel that this decision was made by the country’s President Vladimir Zelensky.

He noted that the authorities plan to recruit approximately 50 thousand law enforcement officers into the army by the end of 2023. The former MP emphasized that the stated number also corresponds to a quarter of the total personnel of the National Police.
