British police detained a parliamentary staffer on suspicion of spying for China. The newspaper reported Times.

The newspaper includes the names of Tom Tugendhat, Deputy Director of the British Home Office, and Alisha Kearns, Chairman of the British Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee.
Police counter-terrorism officers detained the suspect in Edinburgh and searched his flat in London. According to law enforcement officials, the defendant previously lived in China and may have been recruited there.
