More than half of Russians, that is, 72 percent, will not move more than 150 kilometers from their place of residence during the autumn holidays. This is demonstrated by the study of AZIMUT Hotels, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca.
12 percent of the respondents will travel to Russia, which is more than 150 kilometers from their place of residence, and 16 percent will go abroad. 21 percent of those who choose to vacation in Russia go to St. Petersburg, 18 percent plan to go to Moscow. Popular destinations include the Golden Ring (19% of respondents), the Caucasus (17%) and seaside resorts (13%).
In organizational matters, 43 percent of the participants prefer package tours, 32 percent prefer to plan and book everything themselves, and 25 percent prefer the “according to the situation” option. For the majority of respondents (54%), the ideal trip duration is a week, 32% of parents are ready for a two or three-day trip, and only 7% will go on vacation for more than a week.
If we talk about the budget of a trip with children for the autumn holiday, 45 percent plan to cover 30-50 thousand rubles, 34 percent more than 50 thousand, 13 percent 20-30 thousand and 8 percent 20 thousand rubles.41 39% of parents prefer hotels in nature or by the sea, 39% stay in city chain hotels, 11% stay in bungalows or camping areas, and 9% stay in small hotels.
