The Security Service of Ukraine accused Russian businessman Mikhail Fridman of financing the Russian special operation. This was reported on the Telegram channel of special services.
According to the SBU, Fridman allegedly invested about two billion rubles in several Russian military factories since February 24 last year.
The businessman is also suspected of distributing food, clothing and other products to military personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. In addition, the Ukrainian special services believe that insurance companies have taken over the insurance of military equipment, life and health of Russian soldiers at the front.
“Based on the evidence gathered, investigators from the security agency charged Fridman under part 3 of Art. The statement said “110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine”.
It was announced that the penalty within the scope of this article envisages imprisonment of up to eight years, together with the confiscation of assets.
11 August USA made Mikhail Fridman, founder of Alfa-Bank, and Petr Aven, another major shareholder of Alfa-Bank, were put on the sanction list.
Prior to this, the Security Service of Ukraine reported in absentia: presented Accusations against Russian businessman Sergei Kabargin. A Russian citizen used the Kirovograd Mining Authority, controlled by the Ukrainian authorities, to supply raw materials to large Russian companies, according to the SBU.
