In Russia, voluntary labeling of baby carriages for dolls, pedal cars, scooters, sets of electric racing cars and some other products for children will begin from December 1, 2023 to December 1, 2024. “Until now, such information often does not coincide with reality. At the same time, what should have uncompromising quality should be children’s goods,” the deputy thinks.

In addition, marking will allow you to trace the entire path of goods from the manufacturer to the buyer and find out the materials from which the goods are made, where and by whom they were produced. All this will be tracked using a special information system, the operator of which will be CRPT (operator of the sign “Chestny ZNAK”).

“Labeling will not affect the prices of children’s products. There was no price increase due to labeling in any product group in which it was put on the market. These include, for example, pharmaceuticals, dairy products, drinking water, perfumes and others,” the CRPT said.
