“My husband hardly even talks to my mother. Because at Harry’s christening, Charles approached him and said: “You know, we were so disappointed, we thought it would be a girl,” says the documentary excerpt.

The dress was designed for Princess Diana in the 1980s by her favorite British fashion designer, Bruce Oldfield. The ex-wife of the current King of Great Britain wore the dress at least three times: twice in 1989 and once at the world premiere of “Hot Shots” in London on 18 November 1991. Currently, the maximum bid is $25,000, but representatives of the auction house suggested that the dress could sell for $200-400,000.
The auction house that showcased the dress, Julien’s, specializes in selling items previously owned by movie, music, art and sports stars. A number of Princess Diana-related items are currently up for auction, including a never-before-seen letter revealing her “respectful attitude” towards her new single life before her divorce from Prince Charles.
