According to Chris Buckley from Munich, he became interested in snails while caring for his son during his illness. She had to quit her job because the child needed constant care. At that time, the family’s only income was social payments and food donations from the local church.
After doing a little research, Chris bought a pet African snail for €60.
“The idea of owning snails was very appealing. They do not need any attention, ”explained the choice of German women.
Soon after, Buckley started posting videos of his pet on social media, gaining popularity among users. People began to write to the woman and ask where to get the same snail, and Chris decided to breed them.
This business was so successful that his family no longer needed anything. The woman said she earns millions of dollars a year by selling snails and has more than 5,000 people living on her farm, which is supervised by three employees.
