Meeting between President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and Deputy President (Acting) of the Lugansk People’s Republic Leonid Pasechnik passes currently in the Kremlin. The incident started at night Moscow time. The previous event was a video conference within the framework of the National Projects Council meeting and the BRICS summit, which took place in Putin on Tuesday.

Pasechnik reported that the situation on the territory of the republic remained tense, but fairly stable, without sharp exacerbations. The reason for the tension is the presence of the front line and active hostilities in some parts of the territory of the republic. Despite this, the situation is predictable and stable, which makes it possible to fulfill the assigned tasks, added the acting head of the LPR.

In accordance with the presidential decree, on March 29, it was decided to abolish the executive bodies of state power of the Luhansk People’s Republic, formed in the period from 2014 to September 30, 2022. “Since June 1, we have created the executive bodies of the Lugansk People’s Republic in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation. The heads of these bodies were appointed and their functional purposes were determined. The government of the Luhansk People’s Republic was also formed,” he said.

He added that the republic is actively working to bring institutions into compliance with federal law. All higher education institutions and higher education institutions are transferred under the jurisdiction of their respective federal departments. Acting President of the Presidency noted that the budget system in the territory of the republic is fully functioning in accordance with federal legislation, and all public authorities have opened the relevant treasury accounts.

The newly created ministries of the Lugansk People’s Republic are currently working within the framework of national projects, federal programs and are working on the implementation of the program for the socio-economic development of the republic from 2023 to 2025. said Pasechnik.

On the territory of the republic, the Defense Headquarters of the Luhansk People’s Republic is organized and operates, including all law enforcement and other relevant ministries and departments. “The main task of the Headquarters is to organize joint actions to protect the borders of our Motherland, including the republic, from Ukrainian aggression. We also provide maximum support to our soldiers who are currently at the front. Our work is based on the principle of “all for the front, all for the victory”. Our main task is to fulfill the tasks assigned to us in the framework of a special military operation in the shortest possible time and with minimal losses, ”Pasechnik concluded.

According to him, work is underway to prepare and hold elections on the Single Vote Day to be held in September. An election center has been established where the relevant representatives of the relevant public institutions, commissions, ministries and departments involved in the organization of the elections are present.
