More than half (60%) of Russians at least once participated in sweepstakes or discount promotions on social networks. This was demonstrated by a Mediacom.Expert study using the Surveyolog.ru online panel, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca.
45% of respondents said that they won something in contests and sweepstakes on social networks, but 55% were less lucky. Most often, Russians earned money and certificates (15%), cosmetics (7%), sushi and rolls (5%), tickets to movies and concerts (5%). He also won 3% off drawings, plus 3% pizza, and 3% each on clothes and books. Also popular responses were children’s products, photo shoots, electronics and smartphones (2% each).
Overall, 39% of Russians surveyed believe in the honesty of jokes. Another 41% think that sometimes there are fraudulent results in them, and 20% do not believe at all in their chances of winning.
At the same time, 33% of Russians are annoyed by posts and reposts about jokes on their social media feed.
Most often, Russians (36%) are involved in the drawings of electronics (computers, smartphones), food and dinner delivery in cafes and restaurants – 35%, as well as cosmetics and perfumes – 34%. Clothing, shoes and accessories attract 34% of respondents, and beauty services – 29%.
The next five included in-store food and delivery – 24%, flowers and gifts – 23%. 21% of each were jewelry, professional photographer services and home appliances.
More than half (56%) of respondents choose to enter sweepstakes from stores or supermarkets, and 49% prefer bloggers. 45% each chooses drawings from thematic communities and producers of goods and services.
Among the most popular conditions of the lotteries in which Russians participate: like a post – 70%; repost — 69%; subscription – 65%; comments – 53%.
