Breivik wants to sue Norway

Norwegian terrorist Anders Breivik, who was sentenced to 21 years in prison for organizing terrorist attacks in Norway in July 2011, is suing the state for violating his rights while serving his sentence. It has been reported Reuters.

According to Breivik’s lawyer, Øystein Storrvik, his client is suing the state because he has been in extreme isolation for 11 years and has had no contact with anyone other than the guards.

The lawyer stressed that the Oslo District Court could consider Breivik’s claim in 2024.

In August 2022 Breivik planned to send sued the Norwegian government for a similar reason.

On July 2, 2011, the right-wing lone radical Breivik detonated a car bomb near the government headquarters in Oslo, killing eight people and injuring dozens. He then went to Utøya, where Breivik set fire to the annual summer camp of the youth wing of the Labor Party, whose policies he saw as the root cause of many of Norway’s problems. Here, 69 people, mostly young people, were killed and 66 injured.
