President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the dismissal of the heads of all regional regional centers for the recruitment and social support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on the official website of the President of the country.
In the text of the decree, it is emphasized that this is based on the decision of the National Security Council and Ukraine dated 11 August 2023.
In it, Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, advised Zelensky to “decide on the term of office of the heads of regional regional centers for conscription and social support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and end the practice of rotation.” he also appoints officers participating in hostilities to their positions.
Before that, Zelensky signed a law in which military personnel who do not have a special higher education but have served for six months during the martial law period can receive the rank of officer.
It has now been clarified that officers can accept officers under contract with the simultaneous assignment of the primary military rank.
