Rex and Britney Smith announced that their two pit bulls, Jack and Jill, went missing in June 2020. The dogs were playing in the courtyard of the house, but something frightened them and they fled in an unknown direction. The couple tried to find pets by posting advertisements in the area, but the search was in vain.
After a while, the couple moved to a new place of residence 500 km from their old home, and they had no hope that they would see their dog one day. But at the end of July, Rex and Britney got a call from the animal shelter and were told that Jill had been found.
It turned out that the dog was found on the street, taken to the shelter and scanned for the presence of the microchip containing the spouses’ contact information.
“I wish he could talk. We have so many questions,” Rex joked.
The couple took Jill home and now continues to look for Jack.
