According to the media, the incident occurred while the boy was walking in the park with his brothers and sisters, grandmother and mother. He handed over the log, under which hundreds of bees flew and began to sting a five-year-old boy, as the victim’s brother said.
The medical teams called to the scene made the necessary intervention to the child. The boy’s father said two strangers tried to save his son from the bee swarm, but the beetles did not retreat.
“There was a woman, Maggie, nearby, working as a lifeguard at the pool and letting my kids sit in the back seat of her car. I want to thank him for that,” the man added.
Doctors later reported that they counted 40 bee sting marks on the boy’s body.
