“In the event of a disagreement between the clinic and the patient, it is necessary to verify that everything is done correctly, not only by the patient, but also by the doctor. Therefore, a professional will not neglect the photographic protocol. The patient can always ask to send him a photographic protocol, and the doctor cannot refuse it. Regardless of the quality of treatment, complications can always occur. No one is 100% protected from this. And the photo protocol will help to understand the situation. A dentist who practices a photographic protocol is the least likely to make a medical error,” the doctor emphasized.
The third question is about how to isolate the problematic tooth during treatment. In this case, the dentist must answer – rubber dam.
“If you hear such an answer, it means that the dentist uses modern methods and standards in his work. The cofferdam is a special rubber membrane that is applied to the tooth and completely isolates saliva, all solutions and dusts during the working process. The less bacteria enter the open cavity of the tooth during treatment, the less likely the development of complications, ”the dentist concluded.
