Ministry of Innovation, Industry, Trade and Tourism, by decision published in the Official Journal of Generalitat Valenciana 44.3 million euros awarded to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of industrial SMEs in the Valencian Community Various sectors for 2023

The call for 2023, which was pre-published in the Official Journal of Generaliat Valenciana last December, aims to support the implementation of investment projects involving increasing the industrial competitiveness of SMEs in the Valencian Community.

This initiative targets industrial SMEs in the Community of Valencia and some direct assistance that subsidizes 35% of the accepted costs related to investments in tangible assets without repaymentintangible assets such as the acquisition of patents, licenses, industrial developments or inventoriable information, as well as intangible assets such as, inter alia, the improvement of machinery and equipment.

The total number of applications made is 976. After the evaluation phase of the projects, grant support was given to a total of 651 companies for which concession decisions were made.will distribute 44,399,301.42 euros between them.

According to the sectors, 17 percent of the aid belongs to the plastics industry; 14% to the metal-mechanical sector; likewise, 14% to the textile sector; 9% on containers and packaging; 9% to wood, furniture and lighting fixtures; 9% paper and graphic arts; 8% to chemical; 7% belongs to the ceramics, glass and construction materials sector, and 7% belongs to the leather and footwear sector.

By provinces, 46% of the beneficiary companies are located in Valencia, 45% in Alicante and 9% in the province of Castellón..

It should be noted that these aids affect the following sectors: the automotive sector, the aerospace sector and the aviation sector; biotechnology, audiovisual production, video game production, animation and augmented and virtual reality sectors; the ceramic, glass and non-metallic building materials sectors; leather and footwear industry; packaging and packaging manufacturing industry; toys, sporting goods and other manufacturing sectors; wood, furniture and lighting manufacturing sectors; marble, natural stone and aggregate sectors; metal-mechanical industry; paper and graphic arts sectors; the plastics industry; chemical industry; textile industry and material recovery industry.

The decision also includes a reserve list of applicants who did not receive subsidies due to insufficient budgetary credit. If there is a sudden increase in the available budget, Until 13 October, additional concession decisions may be given to the companies on this list.according to established priority order and new budget availability.
