The release of the movie ‘Barbie’ painted the whole world pink. Many companies have adapted their products to the universe starring Barbie and Ken. The latest surprise came from a funeral home that decided to launch a series of pink coffins with stars.
This limited edition coffin, which turned out to be a total success, also offers the possibility to add a representative figure from the movie: “We’ve already sold out the pink coffins, but when this Barbie fever started I said: we have to join the manager of the Alfa y Omega funeral home in El Salvador,” from our designer. “I asked him to take the pink coffin and put pink tones on it, and it was successful,” he said.
The company emphasized that it already sells pink coffins as differentiation when celebrating a black, white or wood-dominated funeral. The funeral home remembers how a year ago they asked for a coffin in shades of pink because of the great joy that the deceased experienced during his life.
“The service is paid in installments and we have a campaign. 30% discount if the service costs $2,500, $1,700 at the discount they left. A few people asked, and 10 pink-colored services have already been sold.”
