On the highway, protesters caught fire – a mounted police detachment was sent against them, which dispersed the protesters with the support of water cannons. The fire was extinguished.
Mass protests against judicial reform began in Israel on March 26 – more than 600,000 people, more than 6% of the country’s population, took to the streets. The reform is based on the fact that the majority of the Parliament can elect Supreme Court judges, who will forfeit the right to overturn Cabinet decisions.
