The driver of a dark BMW is wanted for running over a passerby in Palma de Mallorca. The driver is believed to have been involved in the fatal hit-and-run earlier this Saturday morning when a 36-year-old German tourist was crossing a pedestrian crossing near the Palacio de Congresos de Palma. The Civil Guard tries to identify him and investigate his whereabouts to arrest him for reckless manslaughter and leaving the scene of the accident.
Experts from the Civil Guard’s Traffic Research and Analysis Group (GIAT) are examining all the marks left by the black BMW driver in the fatal accident. It looks like the vehicle was badly damaged and lots of debris left on the asphalt. Examining these in detail will help determine the relevant vehicle model until it is fully identified by the license plate and the person behind the wheel is identified.
Another factor that helps researchers facilitate research is the analysis of data. recordings from multiple security cameras. a fruit detailed study will be possible to reconstruct how the accident occurred.
Second fatal accident within a few meters in a week
