According to him, it is impossible not to be addicted. This is because the dependency generation principle is based on the reward mechanism that determines the survival of the species. It also determines the learning mechanism – when a person gets a good result, he develops “happiness hormones”, begins to feel great.
“What is good and what is bad” is determined at the biochemical level. And this is done inside the body with the help of certain substances that have affinity for drugs and alcohol. However, these substances are found in low concentrations in the body. Take, for example, ethyl alcohol – it is produced by the human body. That’s why psychoactive substances get in and move along the “green corridor”. These molecules immediately form the idea that what is happening is positive. It turned out that the drug is deceiving the body, ”the expert concluded.
