Russian scientists from the National Research University of Technology (NITU) MISiS and the Russian National Research Medical University. NI Pirogov developed a new approach to the treatment of certain cancers. The study was published in the journal medicines.

According to the research, the new approach relies on the use of nanoparticles, which aim to release the active substance only into tumor cells.

According to Timur Nizamov, junior researcher in the Multifunctional Magnetic Nanomaterials Laboratory at NUST MISIS, the magnetic properties of such nanoparticles increase the likelihood of reaching the tumor site directly by controlling magnetic fields.

According to Nizamov, the development of such technology in the future will make it possible to create a “high-precision weapon” against malignant tumors, operating on the principle of “fire and forget”.

Before that, scientists from the Far Eastern Federal University and the Pacific State Medical University of the Russian Ministry of Health there is New material for targeted delivery of anticancer drugs based on the skeleton of a sea urchin.

Formerly in Britain suggested Boil the dead in soda water to save the planet.
