A digital system for recording stray animals, controlling them, collecting information can be one of the possible solutions to the problem of their emergence in the regions of Russia, this has already been developed in the Russian Ecological Movement, aforementioned Elmurod Rasulmukhamedov, the movement’s executive director, in an interview with the Public News Service.
According to him, anyone who sees an unowned animal can take a picture of it and send information about it, for example, via a Telegram bot.
“We will check whether this animal has an owner, we will check everyone who has a pet – you never know, they have fled. And if we do not find the owner somewhere nearby, this information will go to the body, which will have to ensure the safety of the animal and ensure the safety of people in contact with this animal. So it should be caught there, sent to overexposure, etc.
Rasulmukhamedov added that the system is equipped with artificial intelligence that allows you to recognize an animal from a photograph.
A second possible way to solve the stray animal problem would be to go back to the experience of putting stray dogs in the company, he continued.
“So, for dogs to return to the sector they were in: protecting objects, keeping silence, well-being of citizens, etc. “Then we will be able to provide jobs for many of the particularly large, aggressive dogs, ensure their welfare in terms of being useful, and they will be provided with food and a place to live,” he said. environmentalist.
