State Corporation Roscosmos announced the start of the fourth open recruitment for the cosmonaut corps, documents from applicants under 35 will be accepted until October 30. It has been reported DEA News.
The publication states that any citizen of the Russian Federation under the age of 35 who meets the requirements for applicants can participate in the election. According to the results of the competition, it is planned to select cosmonaut candidates who will join the Roscosmos cosmonaut corps.
The applicant must submit personal and medical document packages to the competition commission, applications will be accepted until 30 October 203. After the correspondence check, qualified applicants will be invited to face-to-face testing for compliance with professional eligibility requirements.
The government agency stressed that this is the fourth open selection, the previous ones being held in 2012, 2018 and 2021. Then a total of 20 people were selected.
