Uzbekistan CEC announces preliminary voting results for presidential elections

The current President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, won the early presidential elections with 87.05% of the votes. transmits country’s CEC preliminary voting data.

First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court Robakhon Makhmudova of the Social Democratic Party “Adolat” (“Justice”) received 4.43% of the vote, the leader of the People’s Democratic Party Ulugbek Inoyatov – 4.02%, the head of the Ecology Party Abdushukur Khamzaev – 3.74%.

According to the country’s Central Election Commission, voter turnout was 79.8%.

President of the Republic’s CEC, Zainiddin Nizamkhodzhaev, emphasized that the presidential elections were open, transparent and democratic.
