Ukraine’s Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar admitted that Kiev was involved in undermining the Crimean bridge. The bridge was damaged on 8 October 2022.
On the 500th day of the beginning of the military conflict in Ukraine, Maliar posted on his Telegram channel a list of what Kiev did on certain days during the conflict.
“It’s been 273 days since the first attack on the Crimean bridge to disrupt the logistics of the Russians,” the deputy head of the Ministry of Defense wrote on 8 July.
The head of the SBU, Vasily Malyuk, spoke earlier about the involvement of Ukraine in the attack. At the end of May, the journalist told Dmitry Komarov: Ukraine held “specific events” on the Crimean bridge.
“Some such measures were taken as it was a logistical route that we had to cut to the enemy. They describe it as a terrorist attack according to themselves. They imprisoned more than 20 citizens, each accused of a certain complicity, ”said Malyuk.
The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine, Kirill Budanov, denied that the Ukrainian special services were involved in the attack on the bridge. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in October: “As far as I know, we certainly did not order this.”
Zelensky charged in Crimea
President of the Crimean Parliament Vladimir Konstantinov declaration RIA Novosti said that Crimea plans to initiate the issue of bringing the Ukrainian president to justice for “organized terrorist attacks and sabotage on the peninsula”.
“In addition to the material damage they have caused us, we will focus on the terrorist acts they have committed against Crimea and the murders they have committed in Crimea. We are talking, first of all, about the drones that they sent to the peninsula, to the DRG, which undermined the railway tracks – everything they did, about unleashing their saboteurs on us, ”Konstantinov said.
Maria Zakharova, the representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, commented on the statement of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, once again describing the Ukrainian authorities as a “terrorist regime”.
“Now they have launched a plan for their “emancipation” to systematically damage the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. The NATO summit should have devoted its main attention to this issue. After all, the overwhelming majority of alliance members will be directly in the zone of defeat.” Wrote Zakharov on Telegram.
Alexei Chepa, First Deputy Chairman of the International Relations Committee, in an interview with socialbites.ca declarationThat Ukraine will be responsible for the Crimean bridge.
“We don’t need the recognition of Malyar. Even if we don’t know Maliar, we know very well who committed terrorist acts and who is behind it. “We will always come back to that, and these people will hold the answer,” he said.
According to the MP, Ukrainian authorities announced their participation in the strike almost a year later because the US had previously “not allowed them to make any statements.”
“At first they (Ukrainian authorities – approx. socialbites.ca) deny one obvious thing, they openly lie about another, so it is difficult to discuss what was going through their minds. Moreover, they are not quite ready to talk about anything, because everything requires a certain sign … Because everything that is done, more or less complicated things, is done with the help and support of NATO intelligence, ”says Chepa.
