At this point in the summer, with the programming on the ground, the television medium is being saved for two reasons: On the one hand, the opportunity to follow the 23-J election campaign, minute by minute, to which the holiday slipped. the editors of news programs were exceptionally blown away.

The other reason focuses almost entirely on public television channels and consists of using television as a window into sports or festive events that have become a true filigree with current technological developments.

The quality of being able to follow a stage of the Tour de France on a single screen today has nothing to do with what we were entitled to see twenty years ago. I don’t think we were aware of the privilege of accessing a broadcast of this technical complexity in High Definition.

My relationship with Sanfermines is complicated. I never thought the party had to be so tied to death. But moral dilemmas aside, one thing is for sure, since 2010, the bull run has become one of the most famous and award-winning live broadcasts worldwide.

But there is so much more this summer. Two world Athletics and Swimming courses (each with a two-week calendar) will fill the screen with powerful competitions. Although Women’s Football attracts the audience, it is always football.

Resting from traditional programming would be a very reasonable precaution until the grids return to normal in September. If we add the Vitoria, San Sebastián and San Javier jazz festivals, which we will see with a delay, to these publications, we would be of great service.
