A fine of 5,000 rubles and a bill depriving the driver of a driver’s license for intentionally dangerous driving will be presented to the State Duma by deputies from the Liberal Democratic Party on Thursday. TASS.

The draft law proposes to add a new section to the Code of Administrative Offenses (CAO RF), which provides for administrative liability in the amount of 5 thousand rubles for intentionally dangerous (aggressive) driving. A repeated violation will entail a fine of 5,000 to 10,000 rubles or deprivation of driver’s license for up to one year.

The document states that the cause of 80% of accidents on the roads is absolutely dangerous driving and indifference to other drivers. Deputies stressed that a prerequisite for bringing the driver to administrative responsibility would be the availability of evidence in the form of photographs or video recordings.
