An international team of scientists conducted a study among transgender people living in Denmark, during which experts found that there was a high mortality rate among people in this category between January 1980 and December 2021 in the country compared to the non-trans population. The results of the research were published by the American Medical Journal. JAMA Network.

During the experiment, the scientists examined the situation in Denmark on a sample of 3,759 transgender people and compared them to non-trans people. As a result, it turned out that the risks of many conditions are much higher for trans people than for non-trans people. As a result, the scientists concluded that suicide attempts are common among this part of the population (92 cases during the observation period). There were also 12 suicides and 245 other deaths.

On average, the suicide attempt rate of a trans person per 100,000 people in Denmark was 7.7 times higher than that of the average person. At the same time, the suicide death rate was 3.5 times higher. The researchers found that there was a 1.9-fold difference in suicide deaths among transgender people compared to non-trans people.

Former State Duma Deputy Anatoly presented a way to “cure” trans people.
