Regarding taxation, selection program offered by Alberto Núñez Feijoo this Tuesday excludes a radical change to the current tax modelalthough it points to “a comprehensive reform of the tax system”.
Document submitted by the PP chairman and the defenders of the election candidate “abolish the great wealth tax“, but makes no explicit mention of the banking and energy taxes that the Pedro Sánchez Government adopted at the same time as the extraordinary and temporarily large fortunes in all three cases.
The PP program includes: “An in-depth review” of “the real state of public accounts” In accordance with the General Intervention of the State Administration (IGAE) and in terms of taxes, a number of partial measures have been proposed, such as:

Correct inflation in the personal income tax rate for the middle class

Temporary VAT reduction on meat, fish and jams

“Simplify” personal income tax and corporate tax for SMEs, pay special attention to companies with losses and increasing the average number of employees on permanent contracts

“Improve” the tax regime for new residents to “encourage investment” and “facilitate international mobility”.
