The next division of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system took up combat duty in Belarus, reported Press service of the Ministry of Defense of Belarus.
“From today, the effectiveness of air defense systems in protecting Belarus’s air borders has been significantly increased – another division of the S-400 Triumph has taken up combat duty,” the ministry said.
“It is more important than ever to be fully armed,” said the Commander of the Belarusian Air Force and Air Defense Forces, Major General Andrei Lukyanovich, during the difficult military-political situation developing around the republic.
According to the military department, the personnel were trained and honed their skills at the Kapustin Yar training ground and are now ready to fulfill the main task facing the air defense forces.
