A Ukrainian soldier from Lviv was severely beaten by his commander at the training ground. Ukrainian TV channel TSN reports this on its website.
According to the soldier’s sister, Captain Ivan Zozulchak committed the beating. According to the victim, the use of violence is not an isolated incident, it happens regularly “to prevent”.
The older sister of the man who was beaten said that she learned about the incident by chance when her brother was taken to the military hospital for acute appendicitis. During the operation, the doctors found serious damage to the internal organs: a closed injury to the abdominal cavity, a closed rupture of the liver and pancreatic contusion.
The material says that relatives of the victim applied to law enforcement. However, they fear that the perpetrators may escape responsibility and therefore want maximum publicity of what happened.
