The main theme of this year’s business program of the fourth Russian Week of Creativity forum, which will be held on July 3-7 at the Lomonosov cluster at Moscow State University, will be the image of the future of the creative industries. Sessions and discussions will bring together leading market experts, government officials, development institutions, education and culture. This was announced by the organizers of the event during a press conference at TASS.
The main aspects of the work program were also explained. There are five of them: content and media, spatial development, culture and arts, education and personnel, and a regional path.
Forum participants include First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Kiriyenin, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov, Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov and many others.
The main event of the work program will be the plenary meeting to be held on 3 July. Representatives of government and creative business will attend.
“Over the past year, local creative businesses have managed to adapt and occupy niches vacated by the departure of Western companies. “External conditions have turned into new opportunities for Russian filmmakers, digital platforms and distributors.”
He emphasized that there are barriers that need to be removed today for the stronger development of creative fields.
“I expect participants to formulate clear market demands, image visions of the future of creative industries, and offer tailored solutions,” Novikov added.
All creative markets have revised their development strategies over the past year, according to Marina Abramova, ANO Creative Economy President and Forum Director. Some had to start a business from scratch, others had to look for new partnerships, create teams, create new products.
“Companies have rebuilt their business models, refocused on new audiences and markets. We took all this into account when creating the forum’s work program and made it as rich and application-oriented as possible.”
