Mass rallies held in North Korea calling for the “destruction” of the United States, writes new york post.
According to the state-run Korea Central News Agency, rallies attended by ordinary citizens and party leaders were held in DPRK. Calls were reportedly made during the show to “destroy” the United States and be tried as “imperialist monsters”.
“Imperialist USA is the destroyer of the world” was written on one of the posters.
According to sources, only 120,000 people attended the rally in Pyongyang, where Kim Jong-un gave a speech. Other members of the North Korean government, who took the floor, said the country “holds the most powerful weapon to punish the US imperialists.”
Other leaders at the rally spoke of the struggles their countries faced during the Korean War and that “wherever the enemy goes, the blood of innocent people flows like a river”.
