Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Industry Experimental Design Bureau (OKB) told TASSDeveloped the Vector-120 aircraft-type kamikaze unmanned aerial vehicle.
“Currently, the design work and pilot production of individual units of the Vektor-120 idle ammunition is underway,” said the design bureau.
The press service added that it is planned to enter the flight test phase as early as 2024. It was noted that the device will be launched from a disposable launch tube that will be in the soldier’s ammunition, and can also carry a warhead weighing up to 250 grams.
According to the developer, similar schemes are used in the American tactical idle ammunition Switchblade, but the Vector-120 can launch from any position.
