Two fishermen disappeared in the Talovka River in the Penzhinsky district of the Kamchatka Territory. This was reported by the press service of the Kamchatka Region of the Ministry of Emergencies of Russia, with reference to the Minister of Emergency Situations of the region, Sergey Lebedev.
According to him, the fate of the missing men is unknown, their phones cannot be reached.
“We think they may have walked to the settlement because there was no food on the barge. “At the moment, weather conditions, especially strong winds, do not allow to go out on the water or use helicopters, but our rescue teams are on the alert.”
According to the Ministry of Emergencies, on June 18, two fishermen went on a self-propelled barge along the Talovka River from the village of Talovka to the village of Manila in the Penzhinsky district. The men did not appear in the village at the appointed time. Later, the father of one of them found his barge with a broken engine, 150 km from the village of Talovka. The ship was tied to a tree and her son’s dog was in it.
