Rinat Alyautdinov, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to UNESCO, expressed his hope that the organization would not be included in Kiev’s plans to retrieve the remains in the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra from abroad. He reported that TASS.

Prior to that, the head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), Sergei Naryshkin, said that an agreement was reached between Ukraine and UNESCO on the removal and transfer of Christian valuables, including holy relics, from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra. Under the pretext of “saving Italy, France, Germany and the Vatican from Russian missile attacks”.

The PRC said any attempt to export the remains from the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra to other countries would be a “monstrous act”, that information about it was scandalous and should be immediately confirmed.
