The visa can be obtained from the EgyptAir transit office at the airport upon arrival at Cairo International Airport. To get a visa, you need to fill out a special form.
The airline said passengers traveling in transit are eligible to take advantage of the itineraries offered by its subsidiary Egypt Air Karnak to see Egypt’s attractions.
The purpose of such a measure is called to draw attention to domestic tourism, which is one of the country’s development goals by 2030. To the same end, the country is launching a multi-year visa program for the first time. However, Egyptian citizens planning to travel abroad will be subject to an exit fee.
