The leader of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, described the revolt of the fighters of the private military company Wagner in parts of Russia as a heinous betrayal.

“Everything that happens is a backstab and a real military mutiny!” The Chechen leader wrote in his letter: telegraph channel.

He considered the revolt as a challenge to the state and added that the fighters of the Ministry of Defense and the National Guard of the Republic had already gone to areas of tension to help preserve the unity of the Russian Federation and protect its state.

“The uprising must be suppressed and we are ready if this requires drastic measures!” Kadyrov said.

He also recalled “multiple warnings” that the war was not the time to raise personal grievances and settle disputes in the rear, that the rear should always be calm and reliable.

According to the leader of Chechnya, history shows that such antics can have bloody consequences.

“Vladimir Vladimirovich quite rightly noted in his address to the nation – this is a military revolt! There can be no excuse for such actions! I fully support every word of Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin!” wrote Kadyrov.

He also turned to the Russian fighters, urging them not to succumb to provocations. The politician emphasized that the security of the state and the harmony of Russian society is now a priority.

On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to organize a special military operation in Ukraine in response to a request for assistance from the heads of the LPR and DPR.

The decision to run the operation became the justification for new sanctions against Russia by the United States and its allies.
