Founded by Alisher Usmanov, Metalloinvest will increase the income of the employees of the enterprises by 10% in 2023. This was announced by the company’s general manager, Nazım Efendiyev, who stated that the increase will occur twice, as in the previous three years, “despite the objectively difficult and unpredictable market situation”.
“When indexing, we pay special attention to equalizing incomes and increasing salaries for low-wage categories of personnel and jobs with high turnover. “Our goal has not changed – to be a leader in the sector in terms of the income level of employees,” said Nazım Efendiyev.
Metalloinvest’s press service announced that the increase in salaries will occur in two stages: 6% from 1 June and 4% from 1 October. For this purpose, 2.1 billion rubles were allocated.
Metalloinvest explained that, depending on the business, 3-5% of the increase will be covered by guaranteed wage increases within the framework of the summer hike, while the remaining 1-3% will be met by equalization of income between various positions and specialties.
It is indicated that from June 1, wages will increase for employees of labor specialties, from July 1 – for departmental managers and management of enterprises.
In 2022, the income of employees of Metalloinvest enterprises doubled. The total increase in average wages at the end of the year was approximately 8%. In total, for 2020-2022, the average monthly salary increase in the company was around 20%, depending on the business.
Since 2008 the company has a standard collective agreement that includes the same social and labor standards and guarantees for all Metalloinvest companies.
