The Armed Forces of Ukraine lost at least half of the armored mine-clearing vehicles (BMR) Leopard 2R transferred by Finland. Helsingin Sanomat.

Finland transferred all six of its Leopard 2Rs to Ukraine, three of them destroyed. The publication states that from photographs in which a mine trawler appears, it is possible to determine that the destroyed vehicles were Finnish.

According to the Finnish Defense Forces, the transferred BMRs were little used in Finland, as they were difficult to operate in winter conditions.
