Berezovsky’s ex-son-in-law dies of heart attack in London

Russian IT entrepreneur and former son-in-law of Boris Berezovsky, Georgy Shuppe, died in London at the age of 52. This was announced on Facebook by the former commercial director of Kommersant publishing house Valeria Lyubimova (the owner of Meta was considered extremist and banned in Russia).

The cause of his death was a heart attack.

In 1996 he founded Cityline, Russia’s first private internet provider, and also co-founded the NetSkate production center. He moved to England in 2004 and took part in venture investments in innovative projects in England, Germany and the USA.

From 1997 to 2012, he was married to the daughter of Boris Berezovsky Ekaterina. In 2014, the Investigative Committee accused him of organizing the murder of Alexander Mineev, the founder of the Party chain of stores, and in 2015. announced on the international wanted list. Westminster Magistrates Court in London in 2017 refused Russian extradition.
