Andrius Zalitis, Advisor to the Minister of Education, Science and Sports of Lithuania, said that the country will halve the number of places for applicants from Ukraine at universities in the new academic year. It has been reported LRT.

“In September last year, 700 places were provided for applicants from Ukraine at partially state-funded Lithuanian universities. In the new academic year, this norm has been reduced to 350 households.

He described the reduction as a natural process due to the decrease in the flow of Ukrainian refugees to Lithuania.
