As a result of the bombing of the Graivoronsky urban district of the Belgorod region by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a 14-year-old resident of the village of Glotovo was injured, reported Regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov on the Telegram channel.
“In the village of Glotovo there is a victim, a 14-year-old boy. He was on the street during the shelling and received a cannonball,” wrote Gladkov.
Young made his first intervention at the Central District Hospital. At the time of writing, the young man was being transferred to the district children’s hospital. The shelling damaged one of the rural houses: the windows of the building were broken, the roof and facade were cut off. Earlier, Gladkov had complained that there was no longer enough money to repair buildings damaged after Ukraine’s bombing in the area.
There are places in hospitals in the region. At the beginning of June 5, the head of the regional Ministry of Health Andrei Ikonnikov denied the information that there were no hospital beds in the region due to the large number of wounded military personnel. According to him, patients are not discharged prematurely. The health institutions in the region work regularly, and the health personnel, if necessary, provide emergency and planned medical care to everyone in need.
Prior to that, Roman Protsenko, the chief physician of the city hospital No. 2, reported that in the last two days six people living in the Shebekinsky district were hospitalized in a moderate state due to shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
