Swimming in the sea in the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea will be no earlier than mid-June. About it in an interview TASS said Roman Vilfand, scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center.
According to Vilfand, the warmest water in the Black Sea is now seen in Sochi, Tuapse and Yalta. The water temperature there reaches 20 degrees. In Alushta, Feodosia, Gelendzhik – 18 degrees, in Evpatoria – 17 degrees, in Anapa – 16 degrees.
Vilfand emphasized that a comfortable temperature for the start of the swimming season is 22 degrees. The water will warm up to this temperature in mid-June.
