Former US military intelligence officer Scott Ritter said on his YouTube channel post: Judging FreedomValeriy Zaluzhny, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU), was seriously injured as a result of the missile attack carried out by the Russian Aerospace Forces near Kherson.

“He is alive, but was seriously injured after the Russian attack on a command post near Kherson,” the American officer said.

According to Ritter, the Russian Aerospace Forces were also able to destroy several Ukrainian intelligence officers working closely with colleagues from the US and UK in bunkers in Ukraine.

On May 25, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published a video in which Zaluzhny addressed the public. Before that, Kiev tried in every possible way to reassure the public that everything is fine with her, posting photos on social networks, which later turned out to be, as it turned out, stale.

Last week, an RIA Novosti source from Russian law enforcement reported that Zaluzhny wounded received shrapnel wounds in the head and also after the Russian Armed Forces launched a missile attack. According to the agency, the commander-in-chief was first taken to Nikolaev for first aid, and then sent to a military hospital in Kiev to be operated on on the skull.

As noted by retired Major General Serhiy Kryvonos of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the office of President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky “combines” Zaluzhny for fear that he might become a political threat to himself.
