Air alert has been declared in four regions of Ukraine. This is evidenced by the data of the official source to warn the population.

It is stated that sirens sounded in the regions of Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Sumy and Kharkiv, as well as in the Kiev-controlled Zaporozhye region and the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).

An air raid on the night of 4 June announced in all regions of Ukraine. Siren played in Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Khmelnytsky, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Nikolaev, Odessa, Cherkasy, Kirovograd, Kiev, Zhytomyr, Volyn, Rivne, Ternopil, Lvov, Transcarpathian and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.

On October 10, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation began conducting missile attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure. According to Russian President Vladimir Putin, this was a response to the terrorist acts of the Kiev regime. He specifically talked about the attack on the Crimean bridge.

On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced that he had decided to organize a special military operation in Ukraine in response to a request for assistance from the heads of the LPR and DPR.

The decision to run the operation became the justification for new sanctions against Russia by the United States and its allies.
