The Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation has included in the register of foreign agents three persons and two more legal entities. The relevant message was posted at: area departments.
The updated list of foreign agents includes political scientist Dmitry Oreshkin, historian-publisher Maxim Kuzakhmetov and journalist Roman Super. Also included in the register of foreign agents is the publication “Proekt” and LLC “Yarnovosti”.
It was reported that Kuzakhmetov and Oreshkin made a statement of support to the Ukrainian authorities, while Kuzakhmetov “calls for action, the results of which may lead to a violation of the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation”. Roman Super is accused of distributing foreign agents’ information materials to the public.
According to the Ministry of Justice, the publication Yarnovosti LLC and Proekt spread false information about the activities of the Russian authorities. The founder of the “Project” Roman Badanin (known as a foreign agent in the Russian Federation) lives abroad and was included in the list of foreign agents on July 15, 2021.
